Proper spinal alignment is the key to better health! Using gentle, hands-on spinal manipulation techniques, Chiropractic care can safely help restore mobility to joints restricted by tissue injury as the result of traumatic events and repetitive stress.
This ancient 3000-year-old healing technique utilizes tiny needles to stimulate and activate the body’s own innate healing abilities. Recognized worldwide as an effective and powerful treatment modality, acupuncture can help with a wide range of physical and emotional health conditions.
Massage therapy can be an important part of your preventative or recovery journey. Our Registered Massage Therapists are trained to work with both acute and chronic conditions and will tailor your treatment program to your specific and individual needs.
Have you suffered a soft tissue injury or have scar tissue impeding your range of motion? If so, the Graston technique may be exactly what you are looking for. This instrument-assisted, soft tissue mobilization technique helps to separate and break down scar tissue and is useful in the treatment of a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
If you have not heard of Cupping yet, it is an ancient form of therapeutic medicine in which special cups are placed on your skin to create suction. Cupping can be used to help with a variety of health challenges including pain, inflammation, relaxation and overall well-being.
Fascia refers to a tough, connective tissue that supports and surrounds every muscle, nerve, blood vessel, bone and organ in your body, down to the cellular level. Your fascia can be affected by trauma, inflammation, surgeries, repetitive overuse, poor posture and even emotional tensions. The fascia then loses its flexibility and hardens, causing both physical restrictions and pain. Using the Myofascial Alignment technique, we can restore fascial flexibility, thus softening the hardened tissues and allowing the body to restore muscles movement with balance. This treatment involves a clothes-on, hands-on approach, consisting of both standing and laying postural analysis. Talk to Karen, our registered massage therapist for more information.
